About the Department

                      The Department of Education was established in the year 1963 catering to students opting for the subject as an elective paper. Honours course was introduced in 1966 along with other departments. The Department since has been working to provide relevant notes, lectures, activities, seminars and other means for the progress and welfare of the students. The Department has produced many students who have pursued their studies in the Master Degree and many other courses whereby they have been employed in school, offices and other workplace. The Department also has a vigilant team comprising of the faculty members whereby attendance and performance of the students are checked regularly.
