The college has appointed Miss Daka Emi Lyngdoh as the college counsellor.

Miss Daka Emi is a Psychologist, with a post graduate degree in Forensic Psychology, from National Forensic Science University, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. She is also a certified Cognitive Behavioural Practitioner and also did a few special courses on couples counselling and alcohol and drug addiction.

The responsibilities that she takes up have as a college counsellor are:

Firstly to provide counselling to individuals and groups as required by listening to students’ concerns regarding social, academic, or personal circumstances. Secondly, by providing students with support and guidance on how to deal with problems.

Mediating and improving relationships between students, parents, and teachers.

Working with students to develop and improve their skill set. Lastly, referring students to other support services and mental health professionals as needed.
