MA-TESOL Department
About the Department:
The Department of TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) is a new Post Graduate department established in the year 2022. It is affiliated to North Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong. Currently, the department is offering the M.A in TESOL programme.
The M.A in TESOL is a two year Post Graduate programme in Applied Linguistics (English Language Education). The course is meant to train and equip learners in the various domains of teaching and learning through English with a focus on the four language skills – Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing, Vocabulary and Grammar.
The Department has a total strength of three teachers, who are experts in the field of English Language Education and Linguistics.
