National Seminar on Understanding Intellectual rights: Emerging issues and challenges

The Seminar will be held in Sankardev College, Shillong, Meghalaya on 26th and 27th September 2019.

OBJECTIVES OF THE SEMINAR

  1. To create awareness in understanding intellectual property rights among students, academicians, policy makers and stake holders.
  2. To examine the role of intellectual rights in innovation , traditional knowledge , cultural vitality and biodiversity
  3. To delineate the current issues and challenges surrounding the intellectual property rights in the Indian context
  4. To provide a platform for exploring and exchanging ideas and experiences of stake holders in the protection of traditional knowledge.
  5. To explore and disseminate knowledge on productive market ideas for the benefit of local artisans and entrepreneurs.
